So let's explore each one addressing the purpose, procedure and risks involved. Starting with an interesting fact: LASER is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Lasers were thought to be made around the early 1950s, with the first reported medical applications in the early 1960s primarily used for experimental cardiovascular procedures.
These days Lasers are frequently used in medical and cosmetic clinics and hospitals worldwide. The most well know, and probably the most popular, is Laser hair removal:
Laser hair removal is effective on the face, leg, chin, back, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other regions. Some of the advantages of laser hair removal include Precision; lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while causing no damage to the surrounding skin. Speed, The laser pulses are only a fraction of a second long and may treat a large number of hairs at once. A quarter-sized region can be treated every second by the Laser. Small parts, like the upper lip, can be treated in under a minute, while large areas, like the back or legs, can take up to an hour.
Predictability. After three to seven treatments, most patients lose their hair permanently, although this can vary according to specific hormone production.Risks of Laser Hair removal include burns and hyperpigmentation. For safety reasons, it is always advisable to go to a reputable clinic and perform a skin patch test to determine the correct energy parameters for your skin type. Please be advised that you should also avoid sun exposure during the days before and after treatment.
There are several types of vascular lasers, including pulsed dye, PTP, Alex and Diode, to name but a few. However, Pulsed dye seems to be the most effective. Vascular lasers treat many skin conditions, including pigmentation, thread veins, birthmarks and Tattoos.
The number of treatments required varies according to the type of Laser and the condition being treated. Tattoo removal can take three to six sessions and will generally target most colours. However, the removal of red pigment is sometimes unsuccessful.
Vascular laser treatment risk factors include temporary or permanent Pigmentary abnormalities (hyper or hypopigmentation) and scarring. In addition, bruise like marks on the skin (Purpura) and infection are also potential side effects. As with all Laser treatments, it is critical you only go to a reputable clinic with experienced and qualified practitioners to lessen the risk of unwanted side effects.
The most common types of skin resurfacing lasers include ablative and fractional CO2 Lasers, Erbium Lasers. Anti-ageing and scar removal lasers have been around for decades. However, although still used in some instances, the more aggressive ablative Lasers like CO2 have now been substituted with fractional lasers. These newer lasers can produce similar results over a more extended period, with much less risk and downtime. And IPL (intense pulsed light).
You may have heard of FRAXEL. This is a well-known and popular treatment for skin resurfacing and scar removal. The latest lasers are called PICO lasers. Pico laser technology is a safer and more effective laser skin treatment commonly used to treat many skin conditions, including flaws, sun damage spots and acne scars.
Side effects of Anti-aging or scar removal lasers are similar to that of vascular lasers. For professional advice on LASER treatment please contact an experienced medical professional, preferably a dermatologist that specialises in Skin conditions.

As we age, some follicles stop producing hair, referred to as hereditary hair loss, pattern hair loss, or androgenetic alopecia. This type of hair loss is typically permanent, which means that the hair will not grow back. The follicle itself shrivels up and is incapable of regrowing hair. Many men with male pattern hair loss eventually go bald. However, You might be able to slow down the hair loss process with an oral prescription treatment called finasteride (Propecia) or a topical treatment called minoxidil (Rogaine).
If you find your hair thin or have sudden hair loss, you may not necessarily have male pattern baldness; it is better to check with your male wellness or dermatology doctor to find the underlying cause.
In the meantime, Some of the most popular treatments and preventative hair loss tips can be found here:
Eating a healthy, well-balanced diet, quitting smoking and reducing stress are all ways that may improve problems with your hair. A well-balanced diet can keep your hair in tip-top shape. Make sure you include a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, unsaturated fats, and lean proteins in your diet. Specific vitamins and minerals found in food are associated with healthy hair, including foods rich in iron, protein and omega-three fatty acids. Evidence suggests that a lack of vitamins, including Vitamin D, can cause hair loss.
A recent credible 2020 study of 1,000 men determined that most smokers experienced some hair loss, compared to less than half of non-smokers (Salem et al., 2020).
The mayo clinic determined three types of hair loss associated with stress. However, research has determined that lifestyle changes can reverse stress, including medication and exercise. Moreover, it is possible to grow the hairback once stress has been addressed (Mayo Clinic, 2021).
Using unique hair care products specially formulated for thinning hair can sometimes help reduce the amount of hair loss. These shampoos are some of the most effective substances for hair growth. Hair loss is caused by DHT, a chemical generated from testosterone. Since hair loss is caused by DHT, a chemical generated from testosterone, look out for products that contain DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) blockers and inhibitors. Scalp massage has also been proven to increase circulation to the scalp and help increase hair growth and thickness (Koyama et al., 2016).
Natural remedies have shown some promise in reducing hair loss and include:
rosemary mixed in a carrier oil and massaged into scalp increases circulation. Peppermint oil has also undergone research that suggests it can help regrow hair (Oh, Park and Kim, 2014). Hibiscus oil is often marketed for hair growth, dryness and dandruff, although there is currently no clinical evidence to prove that.
In 2014, a study suggested that onion juice may benefit patches of alopecia. Quite a few new hair care products are now boasting this ingredient as a solution for slow-growing or fragile hair (Sharquie and Al-Obaidi, 2002).
can be found in many hair loss supplements but is also obtainable in our diet. Foods such as nuts, sweet potatoes and eggs are good sources of natural Biotin.
If you have tried various treatments and your underlying cause of hair loss has been properly diagnosed, you may benefit from further intervention or a more aggressive approach. Platelet-rich plasma injections, Laser treatments or hair transplants may be the way forward from here.
Following your consultation with your surgical team, and having decided on your procedure and implants, you will be advised on your pre-operative requirements and booked for the surgery. The surgery will be performed under general anaesthesia in the operating room and is usually a day case, however, depending on the extent of the surgery the surgeon may require you stay overnight in the hospital or medical facility. The placement of the implant will depend on your anatomy, and if the surgeon thinks it should come under the pectoral muscle or sub-pectoral.
There are various techniques for inserting the implants; sometimes an incision is made around the areola edge or in the armpit, other times an incision is made in the fold under the breast. If the surgeon decides on a breast lift at the same time, the surgery will take longer and be more complicated; you can read more about the breast lift under mastopexy.
Following the procedure, you will wake up with your breasts bandaged or with a pressure garment which must be worn for several weeks after surgery. Aching, swelling and bruising will subside over the coming weeks. You will leave the hospital with medication and postoperative care instructions. Don't do any lifting or exercise until cleared by your surgical team.
You will need to sleep on your back during the recovery period and change your dressings regularly making sure your incisions are kept clean and dry, sutures will be removed when during one of your postoperative checkups and you will be advised on when you should start applying silicone scar healing gel.
Although it can take several months to see the final result, most people are happy to go back to work after about a week, some sooner.
Mastopexy is a procedure that lifts and firms a woman's breasts to create a more youthful and aesthetically pleasing appearance. During the process, redundant or sagging skin is removed, and the surrounding tissue is tightened to support the new uplifted and contoured breast. In some instances, the areola surrounding the nipple is resized or repositioned at the same time.
When done as an independent surgery, mastopexy does not increase the size of the breast; however, the new shape can create a better profile. To add the volume, you can opt for breast implants (breast augmentation as above). In some cases, a patient may opt for breast reduction with an uplift.
The postoperative care and recovery is more or less the same as breast augmentation (As above)
Some women prefer to use their own fat to increase their breast size, but the procedure may not be suitable for everyone. To achieve the fullness required to the breast, the patient needs a significant amount of fat which will be taken from other parts of the body by liposuction. Very slim women may not have enough fat to harvest.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, (2011), new pre-expansion techniques in fat transfer breast augmentation can achieve volumes of up to 300cc. The pre-expansion process requires the patient to wear a device not dissimilar to a bra for several weeks before surgery. The device creates negative pressure to expand the breast, creating a space in the breast that is later backfilled with the harvested fat.
All surgeons may not use the pre-expansion technique, and you will need to ask the professional advice of your chosen surgeon to ascertain your suitability for breast fat grafting. In the event, a patient undergoes this procedure the results are permanent, providing you maintain your weight. As with all fat cells in the body, if you lose weight, the fat cells shrink in size, and if you gain weight, they expand. In some instances, a patient may need a second procedure to increase the size further.
Surgery is usually done under general anaesthesia due to the liposuction procedure, although some surgeons may offer local anaesthesia with sedation depending on the volume of fat being removed.
The recovery time for the procedure depends on the extent of the initial liposuction, the amount of fat inserted into the breast and individual healing ability. There will most certainly be swelling and some bruising for the first week or two, and the breasts may feel a little heavy or achy this is perfectly normal.
Your surgeon may ask you to wear a sports bra day and night for the first three months, supporting the newly shaped breasts and helping to control swelling. As with other types of surgery, you should avoid any exercise or strenuous activity until given the go-ahead by your surgical team. Most people will go back to work within the first few weeks of surgery. Final results can be seen after a few months when all the swelling has subsided.
This article will focus on MICROBIOME, what it is and why it's essential for our health, wellbeing and beauty. So what is the Microbiome, and why is it important?
The human body is host to trillions of bacteria or microbes; whilst some can be harmful many are very useful and even essential to good health. The scientific explanation is a little complex; basically, a symbiotic association exists between
10 trillion and 100 trillion microbial cells in every human being. As long as the body is healthy, this benefits both the microorganisms and their hosts. According to estimates, the human microbiota may contain approximately 1,000
different types of bacterium. In layman's terms, good bacteria in the stomach are vital to good health. Nutrition, immunity, and effects on the brain and behaviour are all influenced by the Microbiome, an imbalance linked to several
health disorders caused by a disruption of normal cell functioning.
The Microbiome has long since been known to have an effect on health. According to nutrition expert Dr Rodney Berg, 1996 "The indigenous gastrointestinal tract microflora profoundly impacts the host's anatomical, physiological, and immunological
development. Furthermore, The indigenous microflora stimulates the host immune system to respond more quickly to pathogens. " (MacGill, 2018). In other words, each person's gut microbiome is distinct. It can significantly impact how
a person fights sickness, digests food, and even feels and thinks. Furthermore, there is a direct link between the gut and the entire body's organs, especially the skin.
So how is the Microbiome related to our beauty? Apart from the benefits of a healthy gut in cellular function, the skin has its own unique Microbiome. The skin microbiota comprises millions of bacteria, fungi, and viruses that make up
its distinct ecosystem. However, when it comes to skincare, bacteria has traditionally been seen as something to be avoided. In scientific circles, this narrative is beginning to shift. Today, the skin microbiome is increasingly regarded
as the key to improving skin appearance, rather than only treating the symptoms of skin problems.
Many beauty product manufacturers are now starting to offer skincare formulations incorporating prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics to help "rebalance" the skin's Microbiome or battle the bacteria thought to be connected with specific
skin problems. Many of these companies claim that their formulas may help clear up problem skin and relieve sensitive skin.
So with science moving forward and focusing on the skincare microbiome, what can we expect over the coming few years? Well, Personalization (i.e., skin microbiome, DNA analysis) will become increasingly particular, accurate, and affordable
as technology is leveraged to bridge the gap between customers and businesses."
According to Euromonitor, "DNA-based personalisation is being used to discover skin inadequacies but is still in experimental stages," and other technologies, such as DNA testing to produce beauty products, are still in the early stages.
So while we are waiting for the perfect Personalised skincare product, let's focus on a healthy gut. Eating a balanced diet of fresh produce, free from additives, chemicals, and herbicides, will go a long way to improving gut health, and
therefore full-body benefits. Probiotics can also increase the natural and good bacteria we need for our immune system.

4: The usual BOTOX, Dermal Fillers and Laser treatments will continue to be popular and more money will likely be spend on surgical treatments and gym memberships as
people are now trying to look and feel themselves as some kind of normality ensues.
In 2020, there was an uptick in other non-medical to minimal-invasive procedures like body contouring, botox, skin tightening, medical facials, carbon peel, skin rejuvenation treatment, etc. The cosmos
of aesthetics medical procedures continue to see advancements in treatments and technology. There is a high demand for new and old aesthetic medicine procedures as people seek professional skincare treatment regularly. This article
will cover the most sought-after top five medical aesthetic procedures; let us begin:
The face naturally loses its subcutaneous fat as you age, such aesthetic treatments like dermal fillers; use hyaluronic acid (HA), similar to fill in or plump areas lost in volume and sleekness. This includes wrinkles around the mouth,
thin lips, and cheeks that have lost their fullness. Injectable dermal fillers can plump slender lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases, remove wrinkles and improve the appearance of scars and are sometimes used alongside
botox and other non-surgical procedures. La Cosmetic Royale only buys dermal fillers from a reputable source, approved by the ministry of health in Kuwait and FDA and European standards approved.
2. New Generation ULTRAcel
New Generation ULTRAcel is an innovative skin rejuvenation approach and is the most advanced skin-tightening treatment available lately. It combines HIFU and micro-needling that promotes new collagen
formation, reduces double chin, improves flushing, suppression of stubborn fat cells, and tightens skin in various body parts, giving spectacular results every time. The New Generation ULTRAcel is so advanced in technology
that the results can be achieved within the lightning speed, allowing a whole face to be treated within minutes.
Thermage is a procedure that helps tighten and contour your skin in a single treatment, with no surgery, no injections, and no downtime. Thermage encourages collagen production to produce subtle, natural collagen-looking results on the
face, and the body can stimulate the body's natural rejuvenation process. The procedure involves a unique (RF) radiofrequency technology to securely heat the inner layers of your skin while cooling the exterior of your skin simultaneously,
which helps tighten existing collagen and stimulates new collagen production. Over time of this treatment, the aged skin looks more toned, smoother, has tighter skin, and overall gives you a younger-looking complexion.
4. Thread Lifts
A thread lift is also called a thread facelift or barbed suture lift. It is a cosmetic procedure that aims to lift and sculpt the shape of your face or breasts as well as your cheeks, around the mouth, temples, eyes, neck, and
other body parts. A thread lift is a way to lift dropping tissue and tighten baggy skin without undergoing aggressive surgical procedures. Individuals can use them solely or with other medicinal procedures like dermal fillers
and botox to give a more youthful, fresher appearance without undergoing drastic transformational surgery.

You may have wondered why many plastic surgery clinics have a branch of dermatology or vice versa; well, the reason is, they are so closely related to beauty and aesthetics.
It may surprise you to know that skin is the largest organ in the human body; if you could stretch it all out, it would, on average, go as far as two square meters! Skin doesn't just serve as protection for our body, but it helps shape
our physical identity.
So, what's the relationship between plastic surgery and dermatology? Well, when we are younger, our skin is toned, hydrated and supple, giving us that healthy, youthful complexion
without wrinkles and sagging. However, as we age, collagen production slows down, the skin becomes less elastic and supple, and we start to develop dreaded wrinkles and saggy skin.
Unfortunately, it's not only ageing that affects our skin, but many other factors, including excess sun exposure, smoking, pollution, bad diets, stress and ill-health. Since the skin covers the whole body, the effects are not limited to
only the face.
This is when we approach our dermatologist or plastic surgeon for help. Both types of practitioners can provide temporary solutions such as injectable filler, Botox or minimally invasive threads. However, only cosmetic surgeons are permitted
to offer more permanent or long term surgical interventions.
Cosmetic surgeons can take years off the appearance with face and neck lifts, eye bag removal etc. or correct facial defects with Rhinoplasty (nose jobs). Surgeons can change the shape of the breasts, re-contour the body after weight gain
or weight loss, and help reconstruct the features after accidents or ill health.
But all types of surgery have the effect of creating scars; even the most skilled of doctors cannot avoid them. However, following surgery, when the surgical wounds have had sufficient time to recover, the dermatologist can truly complement
the surgeons work by providing solutions to the surgical scars.
Laser treatments, chemical peels and other minimally invasive treatments carried out in the doctor’s office can offer a solution for, at the very least, an improvement in the shape, colour and size of the scar.
In most cases, a facelift will improve the shape of the face but will do very little for the skin's texture; this is where Laser, chemical peels, and PRP or Mesotherapy can help. Moreover, the patient wants a further improvement from injectables
and Botox to maintain a fresh new look.
So you can see how cosmetic/ plastic surgeons working side by side can provide you with the best outcome.

Everyone aspires to have a complexion that is flawless and glowing. Nevertheless, getting there
may depend more on your ability in differentiating fact from fiction than how diligently you
follow a cleansing regimen or how much money you spend on products. Thanks to the internet,
there is a ton of skincare advice floating around, but most of it simply doesn't work, and some
skincare myths may even be harmful.
It can be challenging to tell the truth from hype when there is a constant buzz about new,
must-have products, an abundance of anti-aging
treatments, and skincare advice from every corner.
Let’s get to the truth behind 5 common skincare myths.
It's a common misconception that sunscreen is only essential during the summer. Although they
are always present, the ultraviolet (UV) rays that cause sunburn are not as strong in the
winter. Since skin hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and other signs of aging are caused by UV
rays, sunscreen use is essential all year long. If you intend to spend time outside, wear
sunscreen every day because UV rays can even pass-through clouds.
Retinol has frequently been referred to as the "benchmark of skincare" and will continue to be
so in the coming years. In addition to treating acne, unclogging pores, reducing fine lines and
wrinkles, and evening out skin tone, using a retinol can also boost collagen production and skin
cell turnover. Retinol is best used when you are in your mid-late 20s to prevent damage from
happening. After all, it's simpler to avoid wrinkles than to remove them. You can s tart
gradually incorporating retinol into your routine, about two or three times per week. After a
few weeks, you should be able to use it almost every day.
The market currently offers a wide variety of lasers, and each one performs a different
function. Some assist with wrinkles, others with sun spots. Some penetrate the skin and
stimulate collagen. People believe that because it is all so heavily marketed, it can transform
you into a completely different person.
Despite the fact that lasers are much more advanced now than they were a few years ago and
deliver better results with fewer side effects, patients are still advised to be realistic about
It is a myth, despite being widely believed to be true. Just because you don't wash your face
properly or frequently enough won't cause you to develop acne. Four elements must coexist for
acne to form: clogged pores brought on by the exfoliation of keratin/skin cells, sebum,
bacteria, and inflammation. As a result, even though not washing your face won't help the issue,
acne is not solely caused by this.

In order to alter a woman's breast's size, shape, or look, a breast implant is a prosthesis that is surgically inserted into the breast. There are two primary types of breast implants: silicone and saline.
A breast implant is a prosthesis surgically implanted into a woman's breast to change its size, shape, or appearance. Breast implants can be either saline or silicone and fall into two main groups.
Implants provide numerous physical and psychological benefits, whether a woman chooses them for cosmetic reasons or for breast reconstruction following cancer surgery.
After making an incision at the areola or below the breast, the surgeon will create a pocket under the breast and perhaps the pectoralis (push-up) muscle, into which the implant will be placed. After that, they'll apply a dressing and stitch up the wound.
Getting breast implants is not something to be taken lightly. It's important to note that the results are not guaranteed, and the treatment can be costly.
There is also the possibility of problems and dangers. This article examines the complications and potential risks associated with a breast implant.
After breast surgery, you may likely require more procedures in the future to fix something or to replace or remove your implant. It may be necessary to perform additional surgery to resolve issues, including a rupture, capsular contracture, asymmetry, hypertrophic scarring (irregular, elevated scar), infection, or shifting.
Implant removal may include complications and the desire for a better aesthetic result. You should realise that breast implants don't usually last forever and that the longer you have them, the more probable you will need to have them removed (either entirely or partially) and replaced.
If you suffer from capsular contracture, you may notice that your breasts are unusually tight and even painful. The longer you have implants, the more likely you will develop contracture. Capsular contracture is one of the most common causes of implant failure and subsequent revision surgery.
When a hole or rip appears in a breast implant, it is termed to have burst. There are many potential causes of breast implant rupture or leakage, including accidental damage during surgery, severe force to the chest, trauma, compression during mammography, or even regular use over time.
For aesthetic reasons, some women may choose to have breast implants placed. However, women who want to proceed must thoroughly understand the complications and issues.
While most breast implant procedures go off without a hitch, there is always the possibility of complications developing at any time.
Before deciding to get breast implants, you should talk to your doctor or surgeon about the potential downsides of the procedure so that you can make an informed decision.
Your search is over if you have drooping, tiny, or unequal breasts due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, surgery, or anything else. Visit La Cosmetique now for a consultation, and we'll give you our professional opinion and explain everything you need to know about breast implants.

After injecting hyaluronic acid, these fillers help to plump the skin while raising and smoothing indented areas, caused by acne scars. However, it is important to note that these are not long- term and that you will need to return for
treatment every few months to maintain the same results.
Sculptra, another type of filler, is also said to be very effective in treating acne scars. Unlike other fillers, it does not immediately plump your skin. Instead, it stimulates the skin’s collagen production and, over a period, reduces
the appearance of acne scars.
This is a procedure in which fat is transferred from one area of your body and injected to fill in acne scars on your face. For fat to survive in a new location, it needs to redevelop a blood supply. Usually, half of the person’s fat can

looking smooth and firm. But, with growing age, the meshwork loses its integrity. With weakness in the underlying support, the skin’s surface loses its supple look. This is where cosmetic fillers come to the rescue and fill up the
thinned- out meshwork. The fillers plump up the tissue beneath the skin and thereby reduce wrinkles. The skin becomes fuller, firmer, smoother, and youthful. Hence, why collagen is said to be the oldest yet the best-known cosmetic
filler out there on the market. With upcoming natural and synthetic products being available, each has its own pros and cons. Therefore, consider getting the one after consulting with your cosmetic surgeon.
Bovine collagen is processed from the skin of cows. Approved in 1980 as a wrinkle treatment, this treatment is still widely used as a cosmetic filler. Bovine fillers are extremely effective and affordable compared to other treatments on
the market. But it has the tendency to cause allergic reactions hence allergy skin testing is a must before you go forward with the procedure.
There are various kinds of
skin fillers in Kuwait, one such is known as Hyaluronic acid fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring component of our skin. With aging, it decreases in
your skin. There are various kinds of natural to synthetic hyaluronic acid available. In the much newer products, the HA molecule is modified to break down at a slower rate. This cosmetic filler can last up to nine months or even longer.
Allergic reactions are rare in this case but still, it is better to consult a good cosmetic surgeon.
When injected beneath the skin layers, PLLA stimulates the deeper skin cells to begin producing collagen. This filler is non-toxic and has been used in suture material for years. It is even used as a cosmetic treatment for HIV skin conditions.
It is also used as a wrinkle treatment in Kuwait and is often considered to be semi-permanent, lasting for a longer time.

skin tightening, removing dark spots, laser, and cosmetics filler in Kuwait. Whether you are looking for Botox, Fillers, acne scars, Melasma, wrinkles, or aging

Dealing with hair loss can be a distressing condition. We examine the numerous contributing factors, available therapies, and useful advice for mitigating additional loss.
Hair loss is a condition that occurs at various levels of severity. Finding the root cause of your hair loss, which could be anything from a vitamin deficiency to stress or illness, is critical because it leads to hair fall prevention.
While men are more likely to experience hair fall than women, thinning of hair, shedding hair, and hair loss affects both genders. Fortunately, there are several options for treating hair loss in both men and women. Here are some of
the common causes of hair loss.
Physical trauma like undergoing surgery, being in an accident, or suffering from a severe illness can lead to loss of hair. Physical stress can cause a type of hair fall called telogen effluvium. In this, the trauma shocks the hair cycle
in a way that it makes your scalp hair go under the shedding stage. The only good news about this is that it is temporary and reverses when your body is healed from that trauma.
Hormonal changes in a pregnant woman can lead to hair loss. Usually, hair loss is seen post- labor since the physical stress caused hair fall. But just like any other stress, even this is temporary, and your hair grows back after your
body is fully recovered.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology, consumption of vitamin A in higher amounts can lead to hair loss. The supplements can range from 2500 to 10000 IU. But no need to worry, as even this type of hair loss is reversible and
once you stop the excessive intake of Vitamin A, it will come back to normal.
When your body doesn’t get enough protein from your diet, it might ration protein stores by halting hair growth where you can see hair loss. You can prevent hair loss by restoring protein content in your diet by consuming food that has
high levels of protein like eggs, fish or meat, green peas, pulses, and chickpeas.
Many people go through hair loss as they approach seniority age, and the most frequent culprit is male pattern baldness. Caused due to hormonal imbalances, it occurs in a typical pattern where you can see hair thinning at the temples.
This type of hair loss can be treated using creams that have minoxidil or oral drugs such as finasteride that help in preventing hair fall and cause hair to grow back. You can also consider a hair transplant if the situation gets worse.
Otherwise, you can visit our clinic where you can experience the best hair loss treatment for men in Kuwait.
Androgenetic/androgenic alopecia is the female variation of male pattern baldness. Women who come from families where females tend to lose hair after a certain age are prone to hair loss. Women who suffer from this hair loss can also use
Minoxidil to grow back the lost hair.
Extreme stress like the death of a loved one, divorce, or aging parent can lead to hair loss. This hair loss can be temporary and reversed once you are healed from the stress or someone else is taking care of you or you learn how to deal
Anemia is common in women. Caused due to deficiency of iron, it leads to hair loss in women and can be fixed when the condition is diagnosed, and better iron supplements are prescribed to you.
It happens when you have an underactive thyroid gland that produces hormones essential for metabolism, development, and growth. If these are produced in better amounts, you might face hair loss results. It can be solved by restoring thyroid
levels back to normal through synthetic thyroid medicine.
Another cause of hair loss is not being able to consume Vitamin B. Hence you can gain back your hair by consuming Vitamin B in starchy vegetables, fish, meat, and non-citrus fruits that helps in preventing hair loss.
Scalp ringworm called tinea capitis is a cause of hair loss. This condition causes patchy hair loss that leads to bald spots and a very red itchy scalp. In extreme cases, it has caused pus-filled blisters on the scalp.
People don’t really realize that their food habits can affect how their hair looks. The body cannot function properly in the absence of necessary nutrients like Vitamin D, A or E. Hair loss is caused by poor diet practices that can be
easily remedied by improving your diet by consuming more green vegetables and fresh fruits.
Alopecia areata is a type of hair loss caused by overactive immune systems that mistake your hair to be as foreign objects and give them permission for removal. Steroid injections like Rogaine are used to cure this, but the condition is
unpredictable for hair fall and growth.
There are many types of diseases that can lead to hair loss, lupus is one of them that leads to hair loss due to a hyperimmune system that attacks the hair follicles. Hair loss caused by this leads to scarring and it could lead to being
permanent. But don’t worry, you can get the best hair loss treatment for men in Kuwait, where we work on treating your hair and getting your charm back.
A sudden drop in your weight even if it is needed from your body is an example of physical stress that causes loss of hair. It is an auto-corrective condition that fixes itself after a few months of hair loss period.
There are numerous hair loss causes and we have mentioned the most common ones. If you need any type of treatment for your hair,LA Cosmetique Royale has the best dermatologist who does
proper consultation and gives you treatment according to your hair type. The care in our hospital meets the rigorous globally accepted standards of Accreditation Canada International and provides quality service. For more details,

Due to their similarities, people frequently mix up cosmetic and plastic surgery. There is a little difference in the reasons why it is done even though both depend on similar situations.
People often confuse cosmetic surgery with plastic surgery due to their similarities. Even if both depend on similar circumstances, there is still a slight difference in why it’s done. Cosmetic surgery is a part of plastic surgery. Plastic
surgery is divided into reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery.Cosmetic surgery enhances your appearance, whereas reconstructive surgery, which involves microsurgery,
hand, and craniofacial surgery, helps treat burns or injury marks caused by an accident. In short, the goal of cosmetic surgery is to beautify, while the purpose of plastic surgery is to reconstruct an affected part of the body. In
fact, there’s more to it, so if you’re interested, keep on reading.
The main purpose is to enhance or beautify your appearance. Performed by expert surgeons, it involves all the procedures, techniques, and tools used only to improvise a feature. By getting this procedure done, you perfect the proportion,
symmetry, or physical appeal of a part of your body. This procedure can be done to any part of your body which includes, the nose, head, or neck. Cosmetic surgery is usually a permissive choice made by the person upon careful research.
There is more to it than what we have mentioned in the list. If you are looking to enhance a feature of your body, then LA Cosmetique Royale is here to assist. We have certified and expert
cosmetic surgeons who give the best results with VIP treatment. For more details, visit our site.
The main purpose of plastic surgery is to bring back the natural feature which got hampered by the injury and to restore normal functions of the body part. It is usually performed to improve the body’s flaws after birth, injury, illness,
or other suffering. Here the surgeons perform this treatment to reconstruct and help the dysfunctional feature of the body to work normally.
Though cosmetic surgery and plastic go hand in hand and are performed to improve a feature of your body, the overall treatment, goals, research work, training and results are entirely different. Each has its own variation and is developed
with a different set of procedures. Hence, choosing the right surgeon plays a crucial role, after all, it’s your face and body.

The Reasons Real People Choose for Cosmetic Surgery - Both men and women who elect to get cosmetic surgery believe it as a successful remedy to a specific issue.
Cosmetic Surgery is a sensitive subject that has evolved from just a medical procedure to becoming an essential part of modern life. We hear about celebrities undergoing cosmetic surgery all the time, but have you ever wondered what it
is and why people choose cosmetic surgery over other treatments?
Cosmetic Surgery is a medical procedure that is performed to restore and enhance a person's outer appearance. The good news is that it is no longer taboo as technology has advanced, and people now find it much safer to get cosmetic surgery
done. However, aside from improved appearance, it has other benefits too, which are the main reasons why people opt for this surgery. Below we have listed the top reasons. If you want to know more about it, then keep reading.
One of the main reasons people choose cosmetic surgery is to improve their overall appearance. This is due to the fact that everyone wishes to appear beautiful. If they want to change a particular feature that makes them feel better about
themselves, then cosmetic surgery is the best option. With cosmetic surgery, all such problems are tackled well and thereby help improve a person's overall appearance.
We know scars can sometimes be very tough on us. Due to past injury and other surgery, this often leaves a person feeling not good about themselves. The same is true with stretch marks, which can prevent us from dressing our usual way.
But now, you don't have to worry about all this, as cosmetic surgery can help minimize the look of scars and stretch marks, allowing you to regain confidence.
If you are struggling with such issues and want to enhance your appearance, then cosmetic surgery in Kuwait is the best place. From laser treatment to plastic surgery, we
provide you with safe and secure cosmetic procedures in luxurious settings.
Yet another good reason that makes people go for cosmetic surgery is changing a feature in their body. It can be the improvement or reduction. Some might want to enhance their lips, while some want to change the appearance of the nose.
The list is endless, and everybody wants to look their best. Hence, people rely on cosmetic surgery.
However, you should remember that cosmetic surgery enhances your features but doesn't completely change your appearance. That is why we always say to have realistic expectations about the outcome.
Botox, fillers, and skin rejuvenation are all performed to help your skin feel beautiful and youthful. Most people in their advancing age choose cosmetic surgery to improve their signs of ageing from the skin. With the help of surgery,
you can get rid of wrinkles, fine lines, blemishes, and dark spots on your skin. People perform this method to look young and beautiful for a long time.
No matter what reason you have, the best part about cosmetic surgery today is that it is a much safer option than it was a few years back. But still, it is always a good idea to consult with an expert before proceeding with the procedures.
Don't end up making final decisions ahead of time.
At La Cosmetic Royale, we understand your needs and desires and hence provide you with the best consultation and surgery from experts. We conduct extensive research on your skin to ensure

A fundamental necessity is having healthy, moisturised skin. Taking care of your skin is essential in the modern world since long exposure to the sun can cause sunburn and skin damage.
Having healthy, hydrated skin is a basic essential. In today's time, it is critical to take care of your skin as constant sun exposure leads to sunburn and skin damage. From oxidative damage and free radical formation, our skin is
exposed to irritants daily, which causes dehydration. The least you can do is to maintain a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, moisturizing, exfoliating, and eating nutritious food. So, keep reading if you want to
learn how to keep your skin healthy and hydrated.
Nutrition is crucial to the overall health of your skin. To help overcome skin damage, you must consume an adequate amount of vegetables and fruit, essential fatty acids, and protein. Try to devote your time to eating foods high in vitamin
C and antioxidants like papaya, oranges, peppers, and berries. If you have skin issues like acne, hives, or eczema, you can eliminate food items causing it, or you can visit a
male health clinic in Kuwait and learn how to recover from them.
Although this may appear to be a basic step, getting adequate water is crucial to your health for long-term hydration. When you have dehydrated skin, you will often find it to be drying, tight, and flaky. Skin is made up of millions of
cells, and without proper water intake, they cannot function properly. So, instead of waiting until you're thirsty, make it a habit to drink one glass of water every alternate hour. There are many apps that help in reminding you
how much water you should drink throughout the day; you can use them as well.
The first step toward hydration is to drink water every day. Aside from that, your skin needs to be hydrated topically. Cleanse your skin with good oil, foam, or gel-based cleanser when taking a bath. After that, you can exfoliate but
make sure to do it weekly once. To end it up, you can apply a hydrating moisturizer to your skin. You can also drench yourself in lotion (wax, oil, or butter), shea butter, jojoba oil, bee's wax, and coconut oil in your routine.
Skin is the body’s largest organ in the body, and it can bleed, itch, develop spots, or change color. If you find any changes in your skin, you should not avoid them. It could be an early sign of skin disease or at worst even skin cancer.
A routine checkup with your dermatologist is not only harmless but also beneficial. The earlier you detect any issue, the sooner you will be able to get rid of it before it turns into something massive. Check out the LA Cosmetique
Royale male health clinic in Kuwait and resolve any skin issues.
La Cosmetique Royale's male health clinic in Kuwait offers expert advice and treatment for skin issues. Before we begin medication, we consult with you, review your medical history, and discuss any medical issues you may be experiencing. The laser treatment's durability is determined by how well it works. If you use the appropriate laser setting for your skin type, laser therapy can effectively cure acne scars.
Lasers are now used as an operative treatment for acne scars. While some are used to treat atrophic acne scars, others are best for treating painful and itchy hypertrophic acne scars. Given the prevalence of acne in the population, it
is not surprising that people seek laser treatment to combat acne scars beyond the traditional ways of treatment. Acne sufferers generally use laser resurfacing as a treatment. However, the real question is whether it works, how long
it lasts, and whether it is painful. Read on to find more about the permanence of laser treatment.
The effectiveness of the laser treatment determines its permanence. Laser treatment can effectively treat acne scars if you use the proper setting for your skin. Dermatologists
work by causing definite injuries to the layers of the skin, which causes the body to produce more healthy cells. This technique improves the skin's appearance and helps fade the scars.
Laser treatment is more successful on mild and moderate acne scars. Remember that laser treatment can reduce the appearance of scars, making them less visible. It might never be eradicated. To explain this in an easy term, we would say
that it involves the replacement of one scar with another tiny spot. Immediately after the treatment, your skin might appear worse. The laser beams cause wounds, but you don't have to worry, they will heal as soon as a new layer
of cells emerges on the surface. It reveals a much more beautiful skin appearance. Before proceeding with the procedures, a well-trained and certified dermatologist will explain everything in detail. If you are looking for acne scar
removal treatment in Kuwait, come to La Cosmetique Royale.
Any dermatologist will tell you that you need 3 to 5 sessions to remove your acne scar tissue. They ensure your skin is healed enough for other procedures after every treatment. If visiting any hospital for acne scar removal treatment
in Kuwait, ensure you get detailed information about the journey and any side effects.
People have different experiences with lasers. There aren't many studies on patient satisfaction, but most reviews, testimonials, and surveys have claimed more than ninety percent positive outcomes. Some research on fractional laser,
a type of laser treatment, reported that it works best for boxcar and rolling scars and is less effective for deep scars.
Patients can expect 50 to 80 percent of improvement in their skin. Although it is an excellent tool for skin rejuvenation, it is still not 100 percent effective. Have explicit knowledge about it by consulting a dermatologist before you
go forward with decisions. Make sure the skincare routine is followed correctly before and after laser treatment. Also, take advice on what medications or products to use for getting excellent results.

is easily noticed. It could be a little difficult to spot the change, so again, try the photo method technique as we mentioned earlier. You can begin to take photos every month to notice the difference.
Seeing a few strands after you wash your hair or brush is entirely normal. It is said that an average person loses 100 hairs per day. But if you are experiencing more than the usual hair loss, that is a bit of a concern. You can visit

A deep plane facelift is a plastic surgery procedure performed by surgeons to target the deep facial structures of the skin. This is incredibly effective in the midface region, especially the nasolabial folds, but also works great for
the lower face.
When it comes to facial skin laxity, even the best skincare products, daily regimes, and sunscreens are ineffective. At this point, only a plastic surgeon can help you by using their skin tightening techniques to stimulate collagen production and thus improve the quality of the skin.
From increasing your confidence to giving you a youthful look, a deep plane facelift can help in reducing your fine lines and wrinkles. But what is a deep plane facelift? How is it different from others? Is it better than other facelift

A deep plane facelift is a plastic surgery procedure performed by surgeons to target the deep facial structures of the skin. This is incredibly effective

The primary benefit of these kinds of facelifts is the fact that it helps in improving the texture of the skin. While traditional facelifts
can also improve appearance by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, a deep plane facelift works on the underlying cause of visible aging. In other words, when we age, the ligaments and internal structures of the skin tissue tend to change.
The surgeons in LA Cosmetique Royale use a deep place facelift method to reposition these ligaments and tissues to a much more natural and higher position thereby helping in reversing the signs of aging. To end the procedure, our surgeons
reposition your superficial musculoaponeurotic system for achieving a natural-looking lift. This is the reason why it gives a much more natural lift than other forms of facelifts.
Whenever you are ready to start, it’s always a good idea to schedule consultations with multiple surgeons and ask as many questions as you can to see whether this is the right surgery for you. You can also see their before and after photos
to check what exactly you would be needing. It is also important to know the costs and amount of recovery time it will take. At LA Cosmetique Royale, we take care of it and work towards finding a solution that fits right to your budget.

You have a choice of many in-office procedures. Your dermatologist can help you decide the best course of action for your acne scars.
Most people in our generation have probably faced acne once in their lifetime. The years of puberty and hormonal changes can cause acne scarring that always comes through photos and ruins confidence. In fact, once you've removed blemishes
you will notice another problem called scarring. These scars are left behind by the damage caused by acne. There are so many remedies to improve active acne, but scarring is one such thing that doesn’t fade away without taking proper
acne scar removal treatment. Let’s read in detail about the different types of procedures you can take for acne scars.
There are several in-office procedures you can choose from. You can discuss with your dermatologist for choosing the best option for your acne scar. It is not unusual for
a person to have more than one procedure to restore the skin as it depends on your skin texture and how much scarring you have. Below are some of the top procedures used by dermatologists.
A chemical peel is a kind of acne scar removal treatment that helps in removing the layers of skin thereby revealing the fresh skin underneath.
It is also known as derma peeling or chemexfoliation where it reduces any kind of fine lines, scars, acne, hyperpigmentation, and other forms of skin issues.
A chemical peel is performed under expert supervision in a clinic or surgery center. In this treatment, your skin will be cleansed with the help of an agent to remove excess oils. After that, a chemical solution is applied to the affected
areas. The chemical solutions normally used by dermatologists are glycolic acid, salicylic acid, carbolic acid, lactic acid, or trichloroacetic acid. The different types of chemicals cause controlled injury and go into deeper layers
of skin. After it's done, the chemical solution is washed off making your skin feel much more defined.
If you suffer from any kind of acne scars, surgery or accidents, precancerous rough patches or melasma, dermabrasion helps in giving you smoother skin. Even this procedure is performed by experts and is considered to be low risk.
In this acne scar removal treatment, your dermatologist will discuss your skin issues and what expectations you have with the procedure.
During this consultation, they will also go ahead to describe the anesthesia type, procedure, and realistic results you will get. This outpatient procedure is great. Generally, a 50% improvement means positive results. After this procedure,
make sure to stay away from sun, smoke, and drugs for a few weeks.
This is another kind of acne scar removal treatment that helps in reducing wrinkles, scarring, pigmentation, removing lesions, and tightening the skin. Lasers are light beams that vaporize the skin’s outer layers and promote the growth
of new collagen fibers. This procedure removes the epidermis and heats the dermis.
There are different types of laser skin resurfacing like Co2 Resurfacing, Erbium, and Fractional skin resurfacing. Co2 Resurfacing is used to treat benign and malignant skin conditions. Erbium is designed to remove deep lines and wrinkles.
Fractional laser resurfacing delivers a much narrower column of laser light that helps in improving the appearance of the skin.

Laser treatment is undoubtedly the most prevalent method for tattoo removal.
In this article, we will be going over several different surgical and non-surgical methods of tattoo removal that will give you effective results.
Tattoo removal with laser therapy is still the most common option for those looking to get rid of their old ink. Directing laser light of specific frequency on the tattooed skin, facilitate the removal of the ink. With the help of this
light, the ink is broken down into smaller pieces, which are then eliminated by the body and fade away. Depending on the size and extent of your tattoo in terms of color depth, this procedure can be uncomfortable and require numerous

TDirect surgical excision is another option for removing tattoos. This is done by removing the tattoo by excising at the skin's surface. This method is best suited for small tattoos and may not be suitable for larger ones. The skin around
the tattoo is then pulled together and sewed back together.
Medical grinding tools are used to carefully remove the outer layers of skin during the procedure known as "dermabrasion" for the purpose of removing tattoos. By removing the ink-filled epidermal layers, the tattoo is intended to be removed

Hair loss is an inevitable part of ageing for most men because genetics plays an essential role in hair loss. Here you find some causes and treatments for hair loss.
As men age, their hair may thin or change its pattern. Sometimes hair loss is sudden, dramatic, or abnormal. This hair loss can signal a medical condition.
Hair loss is an inevitable part of ageing for most men because genetics plays an essential role in hair loss.
However, plenty of additional factors may play a role, many of which are preventable or at least manageable. Hair loss in men is caused by an array of reasons, including:
At least partially, testosterone may be responsible for hair loss. This is because the essential male hormone is converted into dihydrotestosterone hormone in men's scalps (DHT). DHT is the hair loss hormone because it can cause follicles
to shrink and eventually cease producing hair. This phenomenon is commonly called "miniaturization" and is primarily attributed to genetics.
Hair loss is a common symptom of the autoimmune disease alopecia areata. Hair follicles are attacked by the body's immune system, harming their ability to grow hair. Hair loss and baldness can occur anywhere there is hair on the body,
but it is most noticeable on the scalp because of this condition.
Age slows men's hair growth as hair follicles shrink and hair thins. As they shrink, hair growth stops, causing baldness.
Hair loss is a possible side effect of some medications and treatments. That includes medicines for cancer, hypertension, arthritis, depression, and heart disease. Loss of hair has long been reported as a side effect of radiation therapy
Hair thinning has been linked to diets low in protein, iron, and other essential vitamins and nutrients, while smoking is thought to hasten the onset of male pattern baldness. According to some research, a lack of nutrients can lead to
hair loss if you gain or lose weight too quickly.
You can do a few things to prevent or reverse hair loss and baldness, but it's impossible to avoid or change it altogether. When it comes to the best hair loss treatment, Kuwait has plenty
of options. These are a few examples:
These two things may be linked if you regularly harm your hair and notice hair loss. Reduce the bleach, hot oil treatments, or curling irons you use and observe the results. In addition, avoid exposing your hair to the sun or other ultraviolet
light sources for extensive periods if possible.
One of the many possible causes of hair loss is certain medications. If you're experiencing hair loss or alopecia, it may be because of your medication. Talk to your doctor about alternatives that are both safe and effective.
Stress has been linked to hair loss in medical studies in the past. Meditating can be an excellent way to relieve some of the stress in your life. Meditation and yoga, for example, are stress-relieving practise that also helps to restore
a healthy hormonal balance.

Getting breast implants in Kuwait can be an exhilarating experience. Are you making a comeback from one? While some women can return to normal activities relatively quickly,
others are sidelined for at least a week. Prepare yourself for the breast augmentation recovery time that has been allotted to you. We have compiled a list of the most essential breast augmentation recovery tips to help you avoid post-operative
complications (such as swelling and constipation!) and make your recovery time more bearable. Breast augmentation recovery goes hand in hand with post-operative care to a large extent.
To shorten the time, it takes to recover from breast implant surgery, the next important step is to refrain from strenuous exercise for approximately one month after the procedure. This is due to the tenderness, swelling, and redness found
around the surgical incision. These symptoms can worsen by exercises, which can also cause excessive pressure to be placed on the upper part of the body.
Women who have undergone breast augmentation surgery should avoid sleeping face-down for the first six weeks following their procedure. This could lead to sagging breasts because the implant could dislocate due to too much wear and tear.
You should avoid sleeping on your side for at least two or three weeks after the procedure. This is how the implants are held so they don't shift to the side.
The best way to ensure a speedy recovery from breast augmentation surgery is to conduct routine screenings. The frequency of mammogram tests following breast implants should be discussed with your surgeon. If any abnormalities are found,
the surgeon can recommend ways to speed up recoveries, such as using surgical bras or breast support bandages.
For several weeks following surgery, avoid going to public pools and spas. You'll be in for a nightmare if bacteria get into the incision wound, so be careful. Take short showers with warm water on your chest to speed up the healing process.
Be sure to take the medications exactly as the surgeon ordered and apply the ointments as directed. It is imperative that the cosmetic surgeon's recommended precautions be adhered to and that any necessary antibiotics and anesthetics be
You can expect better results from your breast augmentation surgery if you follow all the tips listed above for recovery. The lack of knowledge often leads to misconceptions and the resulting mistakes. Breast implants are not indestructible,
so you should be prepared to undergo revisions or replacements in the future.

Many people dream of having entirely hairless and incredibly smooth skin, and they are willing to spend a lot of money to make that dream come true. Because of advances in technology, it is now possible to get rid of unsightly hair without
having to shave, pluck, or wax, all of which are processes that are strenuous and discomfiting. This time-saving solution is none other than laser hair removal, which has been performed all over the country for several years now. Thanks
to this method, a patient can finally achieve the silky-smooth skin devoid of hair they so desperately desired.
Concerns about whether the effects of laser hair removal are, in fact, long-lasting are among the most common, especially among those who have undergone the procedure. It is a common misunderstanding that having laser hair removal done
means you will never have to shave your body again. Despite popular belief, laser hair removal does not prevent future hair growth. Toxins released into the body cause damage to the hair follicles, which leads to hair loss.
It is not necessary to remove all your hair follicles to achieve a reduction in hair production of 75% to 90%. Damage to the hair follicles, which prevents them from regenerating, is the cause of hair loss over a more extended period.
People looking for a permanent solution to hair reduction can find everything they need with laser hair removal. Consequently, the procedure is one that the vast majority of people can undergo without risk and with positive results. As
with the maximum number of cosmetic treatments, the answer is that it is safe if a certified specialist appropriately performs it and if all safety precautions are followed.
If done correctly, it can be an option that provides longer-lasting results than more conventional methods such as waxing, shaving, and the use of epilators. Individuals with darker, thicker hair will benefit the most from the therapy.
Because of this, you may need to undergo multiple sessions of laser hair removal to achieve reliable and accurate results.
The La Cosmetique Royale offers the best laser hair removal in Kuwait. The laser hair removal
services are tailored to everyone's skin type, hair colour, and skin tone and even have a painless laser that can be used on tanned skin.
To get the best results, an advanced hair removal laser proves to be more beneficial. Soprano Ice can provide you with the best results for painless hair removal.
Botox prevents the injected muscle from contracting by blocking signals from your nerves to the area. Here you get other types of botulinum toxin injections that are available, in addition to botox.
Cosmetic procedures can now be used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of ageing on the face. Injecting botulinum toxin into the muscles of your face relaxes them and makes you appear younger. Botox prevents the injected
muscle from contracting by blocking signals from your nerves to the area. Botox is quickly injected into a specific muscle using an excellent needle and no anesthetic.
Botox in Kuwait is becoming increasingly popular because of its efficacy as a facial rejuvenation procedure. The following are some of the advantages of doing
Botox is a highly effective anti-ageing treatment that can significantly improve your appearance. With these injections, you can get rid of deep wrinkles, crow's feet, and other signs of ageing on your face. When your Botox procedure is
fully satisfactory, you leave a lasting impression.
The fact that Botox can help alleviate your migraines is unfamiliar to many people. Botox treats migraines by slowing the brain's response to pain by relaxing brain muscles. Botox may be the ideal treatment option for those suffering from
Botox injections not only improve your physical appearance but also help with various health issues. Muscle spasms, migraine and underarm sweating are just a few symptoms. Overactive muscles are the primary cause of such conditions, and
Botox injections reduce muscle activity.
When you entrust the procedure to a qualified professional, it is completed in minutes. A medical professional precisely injects Botox with the aid of a needle. Because Botox does not require surgery, you can return to your normal activities

Botox treatments are less expensive than splurging on high-end skin care products or undergoing surgical procedures. Botox injections are typically priced per unit so you can plan your budget accordingly. It's up to the dermatologist you

On the other hand, Botox injections are well-known for their quick results. Depending on the product, some report seeing results in a few days or weeks. As a result, Botox is renowned as a treatment that has immediate effects on some people,
though this isn't always the case.

Based on statistics of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, in 2018, there were almost 18 million aesthetic procedures undergone in the United States in 2018. While in 2019 mommy makeovers, dermal fillers and Botox were definitely on the rise. This year we anticipate a further increase in surgical procedures with more and more people for contemplating plastic and cosmetic surgery.
According to our consultant plastic surgeon, Dr.Reza Nabavian, the TOP 5 surgical procedures in 2019 in Kuwait included;
Kuwait is a slightly different market where trends are very much influenced by fashion and in particular social media influencers. The most popular surgeries like tummy tucks and breast augmentation have remained consistent over the years; a definite shift has been seen in Kuwait with more and more ladies requesting butt Augmentation and body contouring to get the Kardashian style shape.
Men are now becoming more body-conscious especially in this region, where the fitness industry is booming, Vaser Liposuction and liposculpture which helps create better-defined abs is popular, as is gynecomastia surgery to correct over-exaggeration of the male breast which is often caused by hormonal problems and quite often anabolic steroid abuse.
As new developments in surgical techniques now mean less scarring and safer outcomes, people are more confident to undergo cosmetically enhancing procedures. However, I can't emphasise enough the need for finding a reputable surgeon with years of practice and a good reputation. Looking for the cheapest option is more often than not a mistake with many people suffering the consequences of bad decisions.
As minimally invasive treatments are now on the rise this decade, we can also expect to see this area of treatment increase. This is a list of surgeries and procedures tendencies you can expect to see this year.
The Mini Facelift is sometimes known as the temporal facelift, is probably the most suitable for people who have particular problems associated with corners of eyes, drooping lids or brows. The indications for the procedure are specific; the method may frequently fit with the loosening of the mid-third of the face. Those who may suffer from drooping of the cheek-bone region without lowering of the brows may also want to choose this procedure. This less invasive facelifting is popular with both men and women because of the significantly less bruising, inflammation, and bandages in comparison to the traditional full face or SMAS lift.
Dermal fillers like Juvederm or Restylane are as popular as ever, often used to create fuller lips, higher cheekbones or fill out wrinkles, these mini-office procedures will continue to be on-trend in 2020, and we anticipate even greater interest in lip enhancements this year. Just recently we started hearing about the hype in anti-ageing stem cell procedures, where small amounts of fat are taken from the stomach or thigh and go through a process to reduce the large cell size while also abstracting the stem cells which are then reinjected back into the face, neck or hands for volume or rejuvenation. Also making a big comeback with better and stronger threads is the minimally invasive thread lift, done as an in-office procedure.
Celebrities and social media influences and indeed the whole digital media platform are now shying away from the emphasis on being “Body perfect” we are seeing patients asking for more sutle changes and not going for the overdone look anymore. Many celebrities are being seen adapting a more natural look with lighter make-up contouring, smaller lips, breast and butt enhancements. With a global internet reach, our patients are well educated about the latest trends in beauty and aesthetics, and I predict this will be apparent in the request for more natural-looking procedures this year.

In light of the pandemic Covid 19, we all must do what we can, not only to stop the spread of the virus but to protect ourselves. People with weak immunity, especially the elderly and sick, are more vulnerable and are at significant risk of developing life-threatening complications. According to data from The world health organisation (Wetsman, 2020) “People who are over the age of 60 are at a higher risk of developing a severe case of COVID-19” [ with the] highest death rate is in people above the age of 80.
(Centers for disease control and prevention, 2020) state: People with underlying or chronic conditions like cancer, kidney disease, high blood pressure, or “diabetes are also more likely to get very sick or die from COVID-19”. Diabetes has the highest risk with figures of 9%, closely followed by people with high blood pressure 8%. The CDC recommends that these people, in particular, avoid crowds staying at home as much as possible, to prevent exposure.
Boosting your immune system may help you fight off disease or make you less vulnerable to the severe effects. Still, there is so much false information about the use of large dozes of vitamins, particularly Vitamin C and how it can protect you. If fact there is no evidence to prove vitamin C can have any benefit towards fighting off Covid 19. As for other vitamins, many studies suggest possible advantages with just as many debunking the claims. Getting your vitamins from natural sources in the way nature intended and is always the best option. One thing we do know is, a healthy immune system is a good thing. So let’s look at a few things we can do to boost our immunity and some of the things we can do to protect ourselves:
Many studies have shown the importance and the detrimental effects of Vitamin D deficiency (VDD). One advocate for the awareness and treatment of VDD is (David C, 2020) author of “The Global Pandemic of VDF: King of All Silent Killers.” .Dr.David explains how VDD affects the Global population, stating that “around 70% to 80% of people have Vitamin D Deficiency [increasing the risk of ] over 300 illnesses and infections which can kill.
Despite Vitamin D being synthesised by sunlight, there is still a global deficiency, so we should do what we can to supplement it with our diet. Natural sources of Vitamin D can be found in cheese, fish, eggs and milk. Vitamin D May boost the immune system, fight infection and kill bacteria, kill funguses and viruses. Vitamin D intake is recommended at 400–800 IU/day, or 10–20 micrograms. However, some studies suggest that a higher daily intake of 1000–4000 IU (25–100 micrograms) is needed to maintain optimal blood levels. (Bjarnadottir, 2017)
Moyer (2017) states “Zinc is a trace element that is necessary for a healthy immune system. A lack of Zinc can make a person more susceptible to disease and illness”. The benefits of Zinc are well documented in many medical and scientific journals. Zinc not only plays a part in a healthy immune system but helps in wound healing (Agren,1990). Reducing the severity of a cold (Hemilä, 2011). Reducing age-related disease like macular degeneration of the eyes, (Arch Ophthalmol, 2001) it’s said to improve memory (cell.com, 2011) and aid infertility. (Palmer, June 2001).
The recommended daily allowance of Zinc is 8 milligrams (mg) a day for women and 11 mg a day for men. “The best natural sources of Zinc are beans, animal meats, nuts, fish and other seafood, whole grain cereals, and dairy products” (Moyer, 2017)
Studies have shown Vitamin B6 deficiency can weaken the immune system (Medical News Today, 2017). B6 is essential to supporting biochemical reactions in the immune system, a study conducted by Cheng, et al., (2006) concluded: “B6 could increase immune response in critically ill patients”.Vitamin B6-rich foods include chicken and cold-water fish such as salmon and tuna. Vitamin B6 is also found in, green vegetables, In avocados in bananas, Hazelnuts, whole grains and chickpeas.
A joint report by the world health organisation and the food and agriculture organisation in 2002 discussed the relationship between diet and physical activity patterns, and the major nutrition-related chronic diseases.[particualy obesity] (WHO, ND) The report concluded healthy nutritional choices, combined with physical activity, are fundamental to sustaining good health and avoiding chronic disease.
The average person needs to eat about 2,000 calories every day to maintain their weight. However, a person’s specific daily calorie intake can vary depending on their age, gender, and physical activity level. (Crans, n.d) A healthy balanced diet consists of protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats and fibre; these can be found in fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts and legumes and meat and fish. You also need to make sure you are drinking enough water and getting an adequate amount of essential vitamins and minerals from your diet.
Covid 19 attacks the lungs so if you are a smoker, whether cigarettes or vape its time you seriously considered quitting. Although we don’t yet know if being a smoker will make you more susceptible to Covid 19, pulmonologists at UCLA Health confirm “exposure to tobacco and tobacco products impairs our body’s ability to fight off infection,” (Hicks, 2020).
Smokers lungs have a harder time fighting off infection, and the risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease only exasperates the condition. If you think that vaping is not harmful, think again. A report by centres for disease control and prevention, (2020) states “As of February 4, 2020, electronic-cigarette, or vaping, product use–associated lung injury (EVALI) has resulted in the hospitalisation of 2758 people across the United States and has been linked to at least 64 deaths.” If ever you thought about giving up now is the time. There are several aids available to help you quit, including sprays, gum and patches.
As news of Covid 19 spreads so does the stress related to the concerns we have. With so much uncertainty and conflicting news, people are panic buying, causing congestion in the streets leading to accidents, creating chaos and the assembly of masses of people which defeats the object of keeping a safe distance and avoiding crowds. All of this, including personal and political uncertainty, global economic crisis and the sheer worry of contracting the virus is causing stress.
Stress has proven to affect cardiovascular health, mental health and other stress-related illness which all weaken the immune system. It’s essential at this time, you look after yourself and try where possible to reduce your stress levels, Don’t listen to alarming false news on social media, trust only legitimate sources such as the world health organisation and credible news agencies. If you are home quarantined, take some time out to relax, read a book, start a box set on T.V., get plenty of rest and eat healthy nutritious food.
“Researchers have demonstrated the importance of good-quality sleep time and time again, showing that a solid night’s rest can contribute to many aspects of physical and mental well-being” ( Cohut, 2019). A recent study published by medical news today states: “sleep contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system.” It’s essential to get a good night sleep not only for our health but to increase our immunity by boosting the effectiveness of our T.cells, cells that contribute to our bodies immune response in the fighting of disease.
Washing your hands is probably the most most widely used piece of advice you hear right now, but we need to be vigilant to teach our children the same thing, and that’s not only to wash their hands but how to wash them properly. Although many recent reports conclude healthy children seem to be immune to the effects of Covid 19, they can still be carriers and pass on the virus to others. The correct method to wash hands is not just quick swill under the tap, but a proper 20 second routine with soap and water, making sure the whole hand is clean, including in-between the figures and thumbs. It may be fun to let them practice a short song or nursery rhyme to sing each time they wash, ensuring it goes a little beyond the recommended 20 seconds.
Some people are questioning the use of anti-bacterial hand sanitisers and the effect it has on a virus. Look for 60-90% alcohol sanitizers as alcohol is an antiseptic and may kill viruses. Hand sanitizers are useful to have with you when you are outside, especially when exposed to public places, shopping trolleys, door handles and handrails are a particular breeding ground for germs so take extra care. Although these sanitizers are an alternative when soap and water are not available, they should not replace proper handwashing.
Covid 19 is serious. There is no doubt we will all be affected by the virus in one way or another, whether directly or indirectly, just as we all have an obligation to protect ourselves, our families, our fellow human beings and our planet. Governments, scientists, healthcare workers and many others are striving to deal with this global crisis; we too can do our part. If ever there was a time to be selfless, it’s now. Simply follow the recommendations to stay away from gatherings, to isolate yourselves whenever you can, take precautions to protect yourselves and your families, take care of your health, well-being and hygiene and be safe.
Until recently, the only approach to treat issues caused by facial skin laxity – such as jowls and sagging cheeks – was to undergo facelift surgery. There are some patients who prefer to wait until they need a facelift surgery before opting
for injectables and skin resurfacing, but this isn't the case for everyone. To fill in the gap between non-invasive facial rejuvenation and facelift surgery, a new method has been developed: the thread lift treatment. In the aesthetics
market, minimally invasive procedures are in high demand because people want to reverse the ageing process without any discomfort or recovery time. As a result of this demand, thread lift treatments are now available on the market.
As compared to breast lift and other surgeries, demand for facelifts is much higher.
In a thread lift, temporary sutures are utilised to raise the skin just enough to be noticeable. The cosmetic surgeon suspends the patient's loose face skin rather of physically removing it. Lifting and tightening the face can be achieved
by using a special thread method that pulls the skin back slightly. PDO threads are placed subcutaneously and then pulled to provide the desired skin lift result in a shorter treatment type that concentrates on the lower face. Generally,
threadlift is used to lift the mid-to-lower face and jowls, although it may also be used to raise the brows and checks.
Thread lifting is a procedure that may be performed on both patients who require filler and patients who do not, but who only require slimming and upward and backward traction, do not require filler or surgery. In terms of non-surgical
face rejuvenation, it's a huge step forward from fillers and surgery together.
Due to the expanding popularity of non-invasive cosmetic rejuvenation procedures, thread lifts have recently undergone a slew of revisions and improvements. Thread lifting is a new fad in the business since it allows for immediate facial
lifting with results that seem natural. There have been several versions of permanent threads that have proven challenging to deal with, and many of the techniques used were one-directional.
Thread lifts are revolutionising the market because of their quick lifting and natural effects. Due to advances in medical technology, thread lifts are once again being used as a viable aesthetic treatment option, both on their own and
in conjunction with other cosmetic rejuvenation procedures. Unlike ordinary threads that have their barbs cut into the thread, those used for thread lifting contain cogs or barbs that are moulded into the thread. Incorporating this
moulding method makes the thread more durable and less prone to break after being put into the body.
For the first time, FDA has approved PDO absorbable threads, comprised of a sterile, biodegradable, mono-filament synthetic polymer.
As a result, thread lifting has the potential to create a paradigm change in the field of cosmetic rejuvenation. The results were inconclusive, with the possibility of asymmetry or rippling in the data. At LA Cosmetique Royale, we use
the latest thread lift technology in Kuwait to create cutting-edge patterns that can lift and move the skin in order to shape the face. When utilised in conjunction with other skin rejuvenation procedures, patients have a rejuvenated
and natural appearance.
All elements of skin health, attractiveness, and well-being are catered to at LA Cosmetique Royale, including medical aesthetic facials, cutting-edge anti-aging treatments, and conventional dermatology LA Cosmetique has the greatest plastic
surgery in Kuwait performed by world-renowned plastic surgeons at the clinic. In order to ensure that our customers obtain the safest, most visually attractive results in elegant and luxurious settings, we have partnered with the greatest
cosmetic and plastic surgeons in Kuwait.
If you want the greatest thread lift service in Kuwait, go no farther than LA Cosmetique. Lifting is a side effect of the threads, but they also stimulate collagen formation as a healing reaction. Patients will notice a gradual improvement
in their skin's tone and firmness as the threads disintegrate over time.
We provide our customers with a one-on-one consultation with a prominent plastic surgeon in Kuwait to choose the best Thread lift technique for them. Our doctor will do a presurgical evaluation before to the Thread lift procedure. The
patients will also be given injections or topical anaesthetics. The preloaded thread is inserted into a large needle or cannula. At point A, a skin incision is made using a scalpel or needle after the "pilot hole" is made. In this
procedure, the needle is put into the skin and the thread is drawn until it reaches a predefined point B under the skin, at which point it either stops or departs. After the cannula has been removed, the surgeon massages the region
where the cones and barbs are placed to assist them adhere to the tissue.

Thread lifts, a non-surgical procedure that uses barbed sutures to raise drooping skin, have gained a lot of attention due to the increased desire for non-invasive cosmetic rejuvenation procedures.
The apparent indications of ageing on the skin, such as loss of skin, suppleness, wrinkles, facial lines, etc., can cause a person's self-confidence to wane day by day, making them less confident. In the cosmetics business, thread lifting
is a new fad since it allows for the immediate, natural-looking lifting of the face. Permanent threads in prior editions were notoriously tricky to work with, and the techniques used were frequently one-directional, resulting in an
artificial, two-dimensional look.
In a thread lift, temporary sutures create a faint but noticeable "lift" in the skin. Rather than physically removing the patient's excess skin, a cosmetic surgeon uses stitches to hold the skin together.
The procedure is a must-see for everyone who wants to appear their best on camera when it comes to social media. But whether a thread lift is safe, effective, and worthwhile is a complicated issue.
Here are some of the facts about thread lifting to help you know your options and what to expect from the procedure:
The thread lift procedure is an ideal choice for those who want a quick recovery after surgery. Two days is all that is required for recovery following this procedure.
Thread lifts replicate the results of a facelift without the need for surgery. Based on the outcomes, a thread lift technique can be best performed at LA Cosmetique Royale in Kuwait.
The results of a thread lift surgery might differ significantly from person to person according to their age, skin type, and other variables.
A thread lift operation is far less expensive and more accessible than a facelift.
Thread lifts have a low level of risk due to their little invasiveness. This procedure is safe and does not leave scars or other issues in its wake. Patients may endure discomfort, infection, or the appearance of their sutures under their
skin in rare instances.
In addition to medical aesthetic facials, LA Cosmetique Royale provides the most up-to-date anti-ageing and skin regeneration technologies. Cosmetic and plastic surgery in Kuwait conducted by globally recognised experts is offered at our sophisticated and trendy facilities at LA Cosmetique Royale. We ensure that our patients receive the safest and most visually appealing outcomes possible.
We give our clients a consultation with a renowned plastic surgeon to identify the best Thread lift procedure in Kuwait based on their situation. Before the Thread lift treatment, our doctor will do a presurgical assessment. Injectable
or topical anaesthetics will also be administered to the patients. A big needle or cannula serves as a conduit into which the thread is preloaded. As soon as the "pilot hole" has been created, the scalpel or needle is used to make
an incision in the skin at point A. The cannula or needle is inserted into place, following a predetermined path under the skin, and then the thread is pulled until it reaches point B, at which point it either stops or exits. Afterwards,
he removes the cannula and massages the area where the cones and barbs are located to help them latch on.
Despite the allure of a thread lift, it isn't appropriate for everyone. With this in mind, we should not expect significant adjustments because of any repercussions. Although the result is undeniably better, the procedure is not the same
as a complete facelift.

Ageing brings about several changes, many of which are related to the skin. As we age, our skin loses elasticity and wrinkles and drooping. More specifically, when a person ages, the body undergoes many changes, manifesting as the development
of loose, drooping skin and weakening muscles in the facial region.
A mini facelift is a minimally invasive plastic surgery technique that treats wrinkles and sagging skin without a traditional facelift's scarring and side effects.
A Mini Facelift is a surgical procedure in which a plastic surgeon utilises small incisions along the hairline to raise the lower half of the face and address sagging skin.
This surgery procedure's general purpose is to help address drooping skin around the neck and jawline by focusing on the lower part of the face. A slight facelift, despite its name, necessitates a major cosmetic facelift. Before getting
any form of cosmetic surgery, the method is to balance all the benefits and the expenses and hazards. Facelifts differ depending on the desired outcome of each patient. Traditionally, an incision is performed near the temples in the
hairline. The incision begins in front of the ear, continues down in front of and around the earlobe, and returns to the lower scalp behind the ears.
Fat and extra skin on the face can be removed or redistributed. The underlying muscle and connective tissue are re-adjusted and tightened. The incisions are intended to mix beautifully with your hairline and face structure.
Mini facelifts are suitable for persons who have developed slight drooping and jowls. This operation is ideal for people who have no history of medical issues that could interfere with a smooth recovery.
LA Cosmetique Royale provides a comprehensive service for skin health, beauty, and well-being, including medical aesthetic facials, innovative anti-ageing and skin regenerating procedures,
and traditional dermatology. We offer the best cosmetic and plastic surgery treatments in Kuwait with world-renowned surgeons, ensuring that our clients receive the safest, most aesthetically pleasing outcomes in elegant and luxury
settings suitable for everyone.
Depending on the specific case, we provide our clients with a consultation with the top plastic surgeon to determine the ideal minor facelift surgery. Our surgeon will perform a presurgical evaluation before the mini facelift procedure.
They request that the patient refrains from taking specific medications before the surgery. The surgeon may choose to do the process under local anaesthetic with sedation, in which the patient remains awake, or under general anaesthesia,
in which the patient is completely sedated. It is usual to experience pain or discomfort, swelling, and bruising, for which the surgeon will prescribe pain medication after the surgery.
The surgeon will tell when to remove any dressings or drains and when to schedule a follow-up appointment. Every surgeon will have post-surgery recovery recommendations. Some may request that the patient wear a surgical neck or chin garment
to reduce swelling and allow the skin to adjust to the new face shape.
Once the swelling has subsided, the procedure will reveal the difference in how the face looks, which can take up to several months.

Stretch marks are scars caused by rapid skin shrinkage or stretching. Stretch marks are visible streaks of skin that occur on the abdomen, breasts, hips, buttocks, and upper arms.
Stretch marks are created by excessive skin stretching, which causes the collagen bundles beneath the skin to pull apart. When the skin returns to normal, it may appear wrinkled and lined because it is not supported by the same collagen
Stretch marks can occur in any gender, from children to adults; but pregnant women are more prone to them. Although stretch marks are not harmful, some people prefer to avoid having them on their skin.
Not every stretch mark is a permanent one; applying pressure to your scar or stretch mark may amplify the maturity in its appearance. Massages should be done at least once a day when the stretch marks or scars are visible. LA Cosmetique
treatment can help alleviate the irritation associated with these stretch marks.
While the most used treatment for stretch mark removal is the skin laser treatment in Kuwait, there are other effective medical remedies for treating stretch marks,
which we will discuss in this article:
Micro-needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves the use of ultra-fine needles to generate hundreds of small, invisible puncture wounds in
the skin's top layer. These wounds activate the body's wound-healing mechanisms. During the healing process, your body produces new collagen to replace the damaged collagen, which rejuvenates your skin. This improves the texture and
tightness of your skin by "filling in the wrinkles" and erasing the stretch marks.
Our qualified team of skilled dermatologist offers the most sophisticated skin laser treatment in Kuwait to eradicate stretch marks. Lasers emit concentrated light that is absorbed by the skin. Depending on the laser treatment utilized,
it boosts collagen production and helps stretch marks fade to fit in with the surrounding skin.
We partner with Royale Hayat's gynaecology unit, which offers Fraxel laser treatment for both new, red stretch marks and those that have slightly reduced. The laser light is absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin, while the heat from
the laser light promotes the formation of new collagen. As a result, there are fewer deep or visible stretch marks.
Chemical peels involve the application of an acid to the skin's surface, such as glycolic acid. Peels exfoliate the skin and stimulate collagen formation, which help stretch marks appear smaller. A chemical peel is one of the most cost-effective
techniques to improve the overall skin’s appearance.
If your stretch marks are red in colour, the chemicals hyaluronic acid and tretinoin help to improve the pigmentation of your stretch marks. These treatments may aid in the appearance of your stretch mark.

The Thermage® system is a non-invasive radiofrequency (RF) therapy that can help smooth, tighten and contour skin for an overall younger-looking appearance. Thermage works without Surgery or Injections. One quick treatment (30 to 90 minutes
depending on the treatment area) can deliver outstanding results for most patients.
Integrated cooling with pulsed RF and vibration aids patient comfort. The Thermage® FLX system incorporates vibration on the face and body treatments, which has been shown to help aid in patient comfort. You’ll feel a brief heating sensation
when the treatment device’s tip touches your skin, followed by a cooling sensation to help protect your skin and minimize any discomfort.

usually goes away within 24 hours.
For most patients, measurable results appear gradually in the two to six months following a single treatment session and can last for 1-2 years depending on your skin condition and aging process. However, it is recommended by physicians
thermage be used as part of an annual skin rejuvenation maintenance program.
Thermage can be used to treat multiple areas, treating wrinkles and loose skin on the face, around the eyes and on the body. Unlike many cosmetic procedures requiring multiple sessions, Thermage FLX delivers results after a single treatment.
Our skin produces less collagen and elastin as we get older, resulting in lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. In addition, some people lose the glow and luminosity of the skin and may even get dark age spots or Pigmentation. So what is
the solution? Various minimally invasive and non-invasive treatments can considerably improve the skin and provide a more youthful appearance. Let us look at each complaint and consider the best options.
Botox is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment, with more than 6 million Botox treatments administered each year. We use Botox to treat lines and wrinkles and excessive sweating. Not all Botox is the same; for safety and efficacy,
seek out only the best FDA approved Botox so you can be sure it delivers the results you are looking for.
Dermal fillers have been used for decades to treat nasal labial folds and create volume in the cheeks, lips and chin. These days dermal filler is often used
to improve the contours of the nose and jawline and is now more often used by men. Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid and similar substances: they "fill in" or plump areas that have lost volume and smoothness.
Fillers can be used in the lips to create an attractive and fashionable pout, sometimes used alongside Botox and other non-surgical procedures; fillers can form part of the lunchtime facelift, sometimes referred to as the Liquid Facelift.
Skin boosters are micro-injections used to inject Hyaluronic Acid into the skin to make your skin more even and plumper. Much the same as dermal fillers but
with a lighter consistency, skin boosters smooth out fine lines, improving skin elasticity, achieving an overall glowy skin and a younger appearance. Results can last up to several months after the initial three treatments.
Treating skin discolourations can be done by various treatments such as chemical peels, laser and various types of medical creams. However, many people opt for PRP.
Made famous by Hollywood celebrities like Kim Kardashian, "The vampire facial", also known as the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial, includes drawing blood from your arm, separating the platelets, and then injecting them into your skin
via micro-needling or tiny injections. The plasma contains epidermal growth factors which help repair damaged cells and promote collagen.
PRP is used to treat post-acne scarring, Pigmentation and to give a younger, firmer appearance to the skin. In addition, PRP is often used in the treatment of hair loss.
A Thread lift is a procedure wherein temporary sutures produce a subtle but visible "lift" in the skin. Instead of removing the patient's loose facial skin surgically, the cosmetic surgeon suspends it by stitching up portions of it. This
has the effect of pulling the skin back slightly and lifting and tightening the face. In addition to being ideal for lifting the skin, threads help produce collagen.
Collagen helps to keep our skin firm, voluminous and supple. Patients with a thread lift for stimulating collagen will notice a gradual improvement in their skin's tone and firmness. In other words, the thread lift provides ongoing and
progressive rejuvenation for the facial tissues. Most people cannot feel their sutures once the skin has healed around them.
The most significant advantage of having a thread lift rather than a facelift for many patients is the significantly reduced recovery time associated with thread lifts. Recovery from a thread lift is comparatively easy. Thread lifts can
be performed under local rather than general anaesthesia, meaning that thread lift patients can drive themselves home and look after themselves immediately after having their procedure.

Fraxel DUAL laser treatment targets aging and sun-damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin to expedite your body’s remodeling of collagen. And since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a
time, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, which promotes very rapid healing. Fraxel treatment resurfaces your skin by stimulating the growth of new,
healthy skin cells from the inside out.
Clinical studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 to 5 sessions spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart. Depending on your condition and schedule, you and the physician may choose to space treatment sessions further
apart. Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement usually visible in 2 to 3 months. This time frame and treatment structure allow for healing and the production of new collagen to replace damaged tissue.
First, your skin will be cleansed. Then, about 60 minutes prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic ointment will be applied to the treatment area. The Fraxel procedure takes 20 to 25 minutes for a full face.
Most patients describe an increased sensation of heat during the treatment. To minimize discomfort, topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedure. After the treatment,
most patients feel like they have a sunburn, which usually diminishes in 1 to 3 hours.
After treatment you should wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 months after your last treatment, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you're in the sun. Once your skin is treated, continue
to protect it as described above. Your physician will give you specific advice based on your individual needs. Fraxel can be used to treat:
Wrinkles around the eyes (periorbital wrinkles)
Age spots/sunspots (pigmented lesions)
Melasma (irregular patches of brown skin on the forehead, cheeks, upper lip and nose)
Actinic Keratosis (skin condition)
Once you have completed your treatment you can expect Smoother, fresher, younger-looking skin, Improved tone and texture, Reduction of unwanted brown spots, Reduced fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, Improved appearance of acne scars and surgical scars.

Acne breakouts, painful spots and pimples can be annoying as it is, but the scars acne can leave behind can feel pretty awful. However, it's good to know is that acne scars can be treated.
However, before starting treatment, you must completely clear up the acne and breakouts permanently since new breakouts will lead to new scars. A trip to the dermatologist will provide the best treatment options for both active acne and scars .
Your dermatologist may prescribe antibiotics to kill excess skin bacteria and reduce redness and inflammation. Benzoyl peroxide is often combined with antibiotics to reduce resistance. Retinoid treatment often accompanies anti-biotics;
drugs containing retinoic acids or tretinoin are often helpful for moderate acne although its not recommended to use tretinoin and Benzoyl peroxide together. Whatever the condition, the dermatologist will provide the best course of
action to clear up the acne before dealing with scars.
Once you have dealt with the active acne, you may want to move on to finding the best treatment for the scars. Some of the most effective treatments include:
This procedure uses fine needles that prick your skin, creating microchanels that allow active dermatological products to penetrate the skin. Micro-needling devices include the dermal roller, Dermapen and derma stamp. The skin reacts to
minor trauma or small wounds by producing new collagen at this stage. As new collagen is created, it helps smooth out the skin, filling out the fine lines and scars.
Micro-needling is only suitable for depressed scars as raised scars already have excess collagen.
PRP is produced by taking blood from a person's arm then processing it to separate the red and white blood cells to leave the plasma. The plasma is rich in epidermal growth factors. When used with micro-needling, there is a two-fold effect
of mixing fibroblastic activity with the epidermal growth factors to help with collagenases or the production of new skin. Many studies endorse the addition of PRP with micro-needling.
Approximately ninety-five per cent of people who have suffered from acne at some point have a level of scaring. Laser treatment breaks up scar tissue, encouraging new, healthy skin cells to grow and replace the scar tissue. Although a
laser may not altogether remove scars, it can help minimise the appearance.
The types of Laser used in scar treatment are ablation and no ablation Lasers. Full ablation lasers like the CO2 or Urbium can vaporise the top layers of skin but are very aggressive and are not used so much these days. Micro-ablation
or fractional lasers are commonly used now with great results and less downtime.
Dermal fillers are safe, convienient and effective in reducing pot hole or ice pick scars; however, the downside is the longevity and cost of treatment. Injections of hyaluronic acid need to be done every six to nine months and can reduce
scars by about 50% in some cases. Many people find dermal fillers effective as part of a treatment plan rather than a stand-alone treatment.
Whatever treatment you decide to have, please be sure to seek professional advice to prevent or minimise complications from acne and acne scar treatments.
Despite the new era of body positivity, size and age acceptance, cosmetic procedures are on the rise year on year, especially over five consecutive years. Although trends in the size and aesthetic appearance change cosmetic surgery and
beauty, people are still smoothing, shrinking, nipping and tucking as much as ever.
Some leading plastic surgeons suggest that the growth of cosmetic surgery may be down to the rise in social media and photography apps. The plethora of enhancement apps can change
our appearance to make us look as slimmer, younger, and flawless as we want; we are constantly self-scrutiny and looking for ways to look like we do in our enhanced photos.
Another plastic surgeon said it was because “it’s become more socially acceptable to have surgery now, and some even consider it a status symbol posting their post-surgery recovery room photos on their social media. Others suggest it’s
because of the technology advances and surgical devices that give faster better results, like the VASER liposuction or the J Plasma that tightens the skin during surgical procedures”.
Financing options are more readily available these days, with many surgeons and hospitals providing easy payment schemes. Some people have progressed from minor, aesthetic procedures like Botox and dermal fillers to needing more intervention.
Then, of course, some people feel a renewed sense of self-confidence.
ABC News recently reported that despite the Corona Virus, demands for plastic surgery are still on the rise, claiming that even non-surgical procedures like Botox
are in huge demand and have been throughout the pandemic. Since Doctors’ offices have reopened for business post lockdown, the most in-demand plastic surgeries are breast augmentations and tummy tucks (Farber, 2020). According to one
Californian Plastic surgeon, “People who are forced to stay at home and connect to friends and family via video calls, are more aware of their appearance wanting to feel better about themselves”.
Mental health professionals are concerned about the effect of the pandemic on people’s self-esteem. An article published by the BBC, Meeson,(2020) suggests a new phenomenon called the “Zoom Boom” impelling both men and women to get cosmetic
procedures due to the way they see themselves on the video calls. The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons claimed “a seventy per cent increase in virtual consultations with cosmetic surgeons, all from people planning
new procedures once elective surgeries were once again permitted”.
Based on this recent research, it’s not difficult to see the massive demand for cosmetic or plastic surgery even in the wake of COVID-19. So, if you are one of the many considering
a procedure for whatever reason, the next step is to do your research as much as possible. Once you have narrowed down a couple of surgeons, please do your due diligence and check out their credentials; it’s also worth considering
their speciality and whether they are plastic or cosmetic surgeons.

Many people looking for a more youthful appearance will seek out procedures that will help improve lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. While Botox, fillers or laser treatments can improve lines and wrinkles, little can be done about sagging
skin, sometimes referred to as skin redundancy.
At this point, people will look at having a Rhytidectomy or what’s commonly known as a facelift.
Several different facelifts are available, and your surgeon will advise you which type suits your particular case. Some facelifts will involve tightening the neck simultaneously;
others may include a brow lift.
Mini facelifts are ideal for people who have a mild degree of sagging or jowls; the procedure can help address undesirable signs of ageing before they become too prominent.
This less invasive technique permits the surgeon to tighten the deep facial tissues through shorter incisions along the hairline, in the natural creases above and below the surrounding ear. The mini facelift corrects jowling by lifting
and tightening structural tissues around the cheeks; the procedure can also refine the jawline and give a fresher, rejuvenated look.
If you think the mini-facelift may be right for you, speak to a surgeon who will recommend the best option for you. Depending on your individual case, the surgeon may choose to perform the procedure using local anaesthesia with sedation
where you will be awake or general anaesthesia where you will be entirely under. Opting for the mini facelift early-on may postpone the need for more extensive surgery later.
The Recovery period for the mini facelift is less than that of a traditional or complete facelift. However, there will still be swelling and possibly bruising; for this reason, people usually take at least a week off work. Every surgeon
will have their post-surgical recovery instructions, and some may ask the patient to wear a surgical neck or chin garment to help reduce swelling and allow your skin to adapt to the new face shape. As with most surgical procedures,
the improvements will continue for several weeks or months after surgery.
A mid facelift tries to address the problems of sagging cheeks and loose or baggy eyelids. As the cheeks sag, a fold can develop between the nose and the corner of the mouth, referred to as the nasolabial fold, further adding to the ageing
appearance. The mid-face procedure lifts the mid-portion of the face, restoring the youthful connection between the lower eyelid and cheek. On some occasions, mid facelifts are done to correct the lower eyelid from pulling down, sometimes
resulting from previous eyelid surgery.
Depending on the individual, some surgeons may recommend a combination of mid-facelift and traditional facelift techniques, possibly combined with eyelid surgery and fat grafting. The mid-facelift procedure often uses incisions in the
lower eyelid, similar to those in lower eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty. In other instances, incisions are made in the hair of the temple region, and less frequently, longer incisions can go from just above each ear within the hairline.
The front cheek muscles and tissues are lifted higher along the bone, restoring a more youthful face.
The SMAS or superficial musculoaponeurotic system facelift gives a natural and long-lasting result, particularly effective in treating sagging of the mid-face, jaw and neck; in some cases, the forehead may also be included in the procedure.
The two-part technique of the SMAS facelift incorporates skin tightening and the underlying structure, allowing the surgeon to customise the result better. An incision
is made behind the hairline at the temple, allowing the surgeon to lift and reposition the SMAS, reducing laxity and permitting tightening of the facial structure. The procedure also involves a neck lift, as the SMAS connects to the
platysma muscle in the neck.
The Deep plane facelifts are similar to the SMAS lift, but rather than using the two-part technique, the surgeon will lift the SMAS and skin simultaneously. Although this procedure allows for better blood circulation, it does not have
the flexibility to make tailored adjustments. Since the tightening process happens at a deeper musculature level than with other facelifts, some surgeons will choose this method for patients with deeper jowls or more skin laxity for
a more dramatic effect.
Thread lifts have been around for quite some time, but they have had a bit of a bad rap in the past; these days, the materials used in the dissolvable threads are much improved, allowing for more satisfactory results.
The thread lift is a procedure that uses temporary sutures or threads to produce a subtle but evident elevation in the skin. In contrast to the surgical facelifts I’ve mentioned, the surgeon does not remove the patient’s loose facial skin;
instead, they will suspend it, inserting barbed or cogged threads.
The specific thread technique pulls the skin back slightly, lifting and tightening the face. In addition to the lifting, the threads invoke collagen production as a healing response to the procedure. Over time, the threads will dissolve.
However, the collagen produced plays an essential role in anti-ageing, and patients will notice a gradual improvement in their skin tone and firmness.
Often referred to as the “Lunch hour facelift”, the thread lift is a relatively simple procedure and can be done under local anaesthesia in a doctor’s office. Patients can go home immediately with minor swelling, redness or bruising with
minimal or no pain medication. That being said, you will need to take a few little precautions while healing.
While the thread lift may be appealing, not everyone is the right candidate for this minor procedure. It’s essential to have realistic expectations about the outcome and not expect significant changes. The final result will provide noticeable
improvement, but nowhere near the same as a complete surgical facelift.
The skin goes through significant changes every decade or so. Starting skin rejuvenation treatments can begin as early as the teens when fighting teenage spots, pimples and blackheads. Most of us start experimenting with skincare around
this time, usually with drugstore cleansers, scrubs and masks.
As you get older, the skin needs better care and protection. Many people opt for anti-ageing treatments from their twenties when skin discolourations, dullness and other irregularities often start to appear.
As you go through each generation and the skin ages, we start to look for problem reversal rather than problem prevention; this is where modern skin rejuvenation treatments come in.
The most popular skin rejuvenation treatments include:
Fraxel Laser Treatment is a non-surgical laser for facial rejuvenation. Fraxel helps reduce scars, improve hyperpigmentation, treat fine lines and wrinkles and make this skin look younger and fresher after the very first treatment.
Thermage is a practical, non-invasive way to slow down and reduce the signs of ageing since it tightens your skin and produces new collagen. The radiofrequency (RF) technology helps tighten skin, smoothen out wrinkles and contour the face,
eyes, and body. Results can also be seen immediately and continue to get even better after 3 to 6 months.
The new generation Ultracel is a fantastic technology that can be used to treat scars on the body, reduce pore size, treat fine lines and wrinkles and tighten the skin. The latest technology is extra fast, allowing a whole face to be treated
in less than 10 minutes. A combination of HIFU and micro-needling gives spectacular results every time.
Micro-needling, also referred to as collagen induction therapy, involves using super-fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of the skin. These wounds stimulate the body's wound-healing processes.
Your body produces fresh collagen to replace the damaged collagen during the healing process, rejuvenating your skin. This results in an overall improvement in the texture and tightness of your skin by "filling in the lines" and removing
the wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks that can keep you looking young as you age.
Botox is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment, with more than 6 million Botox treatments administered each year. We use Botox to treat lines and wrinkles and excessive sweating.
These use hyaluronic Acid and similar substances to "fill in" or plump areas that have lost volume and smoothness. This includes wrinkles around the mouth, thin lips, and cheeks that have lost fullness.
Fillers can be used in the lips to create an attractive and fashionable pout, sometimes used alongside Botox and other non-surgical procedures; fillers can form part of
the lunchtime facelift, sometimes referred to as the Liquid Facelift.
Restylane Skin Boosters are micro-injections used as a technique to inject Hyaluronic Acid into the skin to make your skin more even and plumper. Hyaluronic Acid is known to smooth fine lines improving skin elasticity, achieving an overall
glowing skin and a younger appearance. Results can last up to several months after the initial three treatments.
PRP is used to treat post-acne scarring, Pigmentation and to give a younger, firmer appearance
to the skin. In addition, PRP is often used in the treatment of hair loss.
The European trend for the "lunch hour Facelift" has long influenced the demand for such minimally invasive procedures done under local anaesthesia in the doctor's office. Most of these minor procedures can be done together or with a short
duration between treatments
An APTOS thread lift is a way to lift sagging tissue and tighten loose skin without undergoing an invasive surgical procedure. ... After the threads dissolve, they leave behind a scaffold of new collagen and elastin to recondition the
skin and slow the process of ageing.
Thread lifts are now prevalent "lunch hour facelift" procedures. The new generation threads are much stronger and more effective than previous versions. They can be used alone or with other systems like dermal fillers and Botox to give a more youthful, fresher appearance without having more invasive surgery. Thread lifts can be used to lift the cheeks, around the mouth, forehead, eyes, neck and some parts of the body.
There are several types of skin scars that you may want to reduce the appearance of. Think about post-acne scars, surgical scars, injury scars, burns and keloids etc. Each of them requires different or combined treatments, and some treatments
may not be suitable at all.
So first, let's explore what a Scar actually is and what causes it.
When the skin goes through trauma, a natural healing process occurs to mend the skin. Collagen, an essential protein produced by the body, is released, building up around the wound to repair and strengthen it. As the collagen builds up,
it makes the skin thicker, maybe even raised and lumpy, its this process that produces what we know to be "A scar." New collagen continues to be built over the following several months.
As time goes by, that collagen breaks down. The scar becomes flatter and smoother, gradually fading over about two years. Although the scar won't wholly disappear, the appearance becomes less noticeable over time. However, we can do things
to drastically improve the appearance of scars, even those that have plagued us for many years.
Treatment for scars includes chemical peels, Intralesional steroid injections ( for keloids), PRP injections with Scar revision, Micro-needling, and laser treatments. Let's explore each one in its own right.
Chemical peels remove the outer layers of the skin. Still, with the emergence of Lasers and other scar reducing treatments, chemical peels are not as popular as they once were. Despite alternative therapies, chemical peels still have a
place for mild scarring and superficial wrinkles. There are three depths of chemical peels, mild, medium and deep. Common peels include Alpha hydroxy acids, like glycolic, BHA peels, TCA peels, and Phenol peels. You may find mild peels
available for home use. However, you still need to be cautious and follow the instructions to the letter because even mild peels can cause permanent skin damage.
Keloids and hypertrophic scars are different from other scars as they are raised and excessively thickened at the site of the trauma. Poorly healed wounds, together with genetic factors, can cause raised hypertrophic or keloid scars. If
this type of scar develops after surgery, your doctor may recommend up to five steroid injections, taken every 4-6 weeks. The cortisone steroid injections help break up the scar tissue by breaking the bonds between the collagen fibres.
The steroid injections have a potent anti-inflammatory action reducing swelling and redness and can help reduce the raised scars. Injections take approximately 15 minutes in an outpatient clinic, and no anaesthesia is required.
Scar revision involves placing another incision at the site of the original scar, removing previous skin tissue and creating a more refined or more precise scar. Sometimes the original scar may not have healed the way we expect, being
overly large or ragged. While scars may be improved by surgery or further surgery, it's essential to know you will be replacing one scar with another and not completely removing it. Using special silicone sheets or gels may improve
the skin even more if used as recommended by your doctor. Do not use Silicon until the wound has completely healed.
A micro-needling device like a dermal roller or Dermapen can improve scars by creating microchannels in the skin, which initiate fibroblast cells to produce new collagen to heal the skin. The Micro-needling effect can be further enhanced
by introducing active ingredients into the skin. Certain Mesotherapy products can be beneficial in further creating new collagen and are often used with micro-needling devices. For treating scars, Platelet-rich plasma containing epidermal
growth factors together with the fibroblastic activity stimulated by micro-needling create a double effect on healing the skin and reducing the depth of scars.
More unique technology incorporates micro-needling combined with radiofrequency for a better result; UltraCell is one such machine proving very effective in scar reduction.
Several types of Lasers are now available to treat many different scars. Some lasers are Ablative, meaning they completely remove layers of skin. Whilst effective for more severe scars, ablative lasers have their drawbacks. Co2 and erbium
lasers vaporize dermal tissue to produce new skin. However, the recovery time is long and intense as the skin goes through its healing process.
Newer lasers can produce similar results over time without a lengthy recovery period called micro-ablative lasers.
Fraxel is a well know fractional laser used in scar treatment. Non-ablative or fractional lasers work similarly as Micro-needling, creating channels in the skin. However, lasers also use energy that produces targeted heat, causing collagen
remodelling in the skin. Pulsed dye and Q-switched Nd:YAG Lsers can also help reduce the scars' redness.
Once you have decided to get treatment for your scars, make an appointment to consult with your plastic surgeon or dermatologist to discuss your options. Follow your pre and post procedure recommendations carefully to avoid complications
occurring from various treatments.

Laser treatment for the skin covers many different areas, including Laser Hair removal, skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, vascular lesions and tattoo removal.
Each of the above treatments may require additional or different protocols for post-treatment aftercare than that of the Laser hair removal below:
When it comes to aesthetic trends, men are no longer far behind women in looking and feeling their best selves. According to plastic surgery.org, 2019, a new report from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reveals that more than 1.3
million cosmetic procedures were performed on men in 2018 alone, representing a 29 per cent increase since 2000.
Post-Covid lockdowns have also prompted some men to reevaluate their health, fitness and appearance, encouraging many to seek plastic surgery and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
So what are the trends in plastic surgery for men? Just as women’s bodies change through the decades, men experience the same issues.
In the Middle East region, the trend for bodybuilding is massive, and six-pack abs are one of the primary aesthetic goals. Getting great abs takes dedication and countless hours of gruelling workouts coupled with strict diets. However,
many men turn to tummy tucks or Laser-assisted such as Vaser to obtain a good midsection. On the other hand, an unfortunate abuse of anabolic steroids, weight
gain or natural hormone problems can also lead to gynecomastia or the male breast. Liposuction assisted surgery has become an excellent solution to treat the breast and restore
the normal male anatomy.
With more than 200,000 surgical procedures performed on men in 2018, Rhinoplasty was the most popular, with more than 52,000 procedures. Eyelid surgery ranked second, followed by (up to 5 per cent).
Breast reduction (gynecomastia) ranked number four with more than 24,000 procedures, up 22 per cent since 2000, and hair transplantation ranked fifth, up 17 per cent since 2017 (plastic surgery.org, 2019)
Aside from the above surgeries, many men opt for facelifts and brow lifts to give a more youthful appearance. The chiselled jaw look can be achieved by strategically placed dermal fillers, as can a straighter nose and a more defined chin.
Modern techniques mean some of these surgeries can be performed under local anaesthesia and twilight sedation, removing the requirement of going under general anaesthesia. Minimally invasive procedures like accutite and vaser can tighten
the skin as a lunchtime procedure. Moreover, botox, threads, PRP face and hair and laser treatments are becoming more popular than ever.
If you are a man considering any cosmetic procedure, I urge you to do your research. Find a reputable surgeon with good credentials and a track record of patient satisfaction and safety.

Over the last two decades, enhancing the shape and volume of the lip has become widespread; it is rumoured the Hollywood star Angelina Jollie prompted the trend, but since then, many famous celebrities have been setting the direction for
different looks in lip augmentation.
Every few years, we hear of a new name given to lips filler techniques, we will start with the latest trend and work backwards;
A supermodel look with less risk of lumps and bumps or filler migration. The procedure involves vertically injecting tiny filler droplets into the lip to widen, lift and create volume. This is the ideal technique for those who want fullness
rather than projection.
This technique involves injecting filler into both the vermilion border and the fleshy area of the lip. First, a threading method is used along the border between the lip edge and the surrounding skin; enhancing this area gives more projection.
The second part of the technique involves injecting small boluses of filler to create volume.
Popular with more mature ladies, this technique aims to raise the corner of the lips rather than create more volume; it can improve the oral commissures or sag at the side of the mouth. Small amounts of filler are used in the corners of
the lips and less in the tubercles or fleshy areas of the lip.
This technique provides fullness to the centre of the lip only, avoiding the corners, this is sometimes referred to as a bee sting. The injector distributes the filler in a linear technique perpendicular to the normal contour.
This technique requires much experience and skill of the practitioner. Given the possible complications of superficial lumps and bumps. However, in the hands of an experienced practitioner, this is the best tequnique for patients who desire
to have the white roll of the lip around the vermillion border to be sharply defined. At the same time, the fleshy area becomes more unrolled and exposed. The technique is done slowly in small but deep injections to avoid filler migration
and is started at the collagen-rich line.
If you find your hair thin or have sudden hair loss, you
